AI-3002 : Developing Solutions with Azure AI Document Intelligence

Participants should have a solid understanding of creating and using document intelligence models in Document Intelligence Studio and in code. They should also have programming experience in Python or C#, be familiar with the Azure Portal, and be comfortable with provisioning Azure AI resources.

Plan an Azure AI Document Intelligence Solution

• Describe the components of an Azure AI Document Intelligence solution.
• Create and connect to Azure AI Document Intelligence resources in Azure.
• Choose between predefined, custom, or composite models.

Use Predefined Azure AI Document Intelligence Models

• Identify business problems that can be solved using predefined models in Azure AI Document Intelligence.
• Analyze forms using General Document, Read, and Layout models.
• Analyze forms using predefined Financial, ID, and Tax models.

Extract Data from Forms with Azure Document Intelligence

• Identify how the layout service, predefined models, and custom service in Azure Document Intelligence can automate processes.
• Use Optical Character Recognition (OCR) features of Azure Document Intelligence with SDKs, REST API, and Azure Document Intelligence Studio.
• Develop and test custom models.

Create a Composite Form Recognizer Model

• Describe business problems that can be solved with custom and composite models.
• Train a custom model to extract data from forms with unusual structures.
• Create a composite model that can analyze forms in multiple formats.

Create a Custom Form Recognizer Skill for Azure Cognitive Search

• Describe how a custom skill can enrich content passed through an Azure Cognitive Search pipeline.
• Develop a custom skill that calls an Azure Forms Analyzer solution to extract data from forms.
