Intermediate Terraform
- Developers Infrastructure Engineers System Administrators DevOps Professionals
Training Overview
Terraform is an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tool that allows for the independent deployment of infrastructure. Beyond the fundamentals covered in the introductory training, using Terraform to deploy large-scale, fully automated infrastructures requires a set of best practices and mechanisms, which will be discussed during this training:
- Deploying Across Multiple Subscriptions: Complex infrastructures are often hosted on multiple subscriptions.
- Working with Pre-Existing Infrastructure: Learn how to manage infrastructure that is not under Terraform control.
- Reducing Duplication: Ensure maintainability and readability.
- Creating and Using Modules: Best practices for module creation and consumption.
- Workarounds for Unmanaged Cases: Solutions for scenarios not natively supported by Terraform.
Learning Objectives
Trainees will be able to:
- Deploy complex infrastructures across multiple subscriptions,
- Manage modules,
- Apply best practices for Terraform code management,
- Drive deployment with Terraform by integrating other tools,
- Work with existing infrastructure.
Introduction
- Understand complex infrastructures

In this training, we mix theory with technical workshops to quickly make you operational. Additionally, each participant receives course materials at the end of the training.
One of our consultant trainers conducts the training. With solid field experience, they make the learning process both interactive and enriching.
For assessment, the trainer regularly asks questions and uses various methods to continuously measure your progress. This approach promotes a dynamic and engaging learning experience.
After the training, we ask you to complete a satisfaction questionnaire. Your feedback helps us to maintain and constantly improve the quality of our training.
Finally, we offer the flexibility to deliver this training both in-person and remotely, and it can be customized to meet your company’s specific needs upon request.
Candidates for this exam should have a basic understanding of Azure, at the level of “AZ-900: Azure Fundamentals” or equivalent, and have completed the “Terraform – Introduction” course or possess equivalent theoretical and practical knowledge of Terraform. Experience with JSON files is also a plus.
To participate in this training, you must have the rights to install the Terraform binary on your machine and possess VS Code. You should also be able to install the AZ CLI. Azure subscriptions will be provided by Cellenza Training.
You can register for one of our training courses up to two business days before it starts, if there are still available places and you signed quote.
If you have specific needs related to a disability, please do not hesitate to make a request; we are happy to adjust our services according to the type of disability.
